How To Identify Your Elmira Woodstove

Fireplace Inserts If the fan is mounted on either the left or right sides, you have either a 1500 or 1600 insert. These models use the large arched glass and the 14218 motor. If the fan is mounted below the door, you have either a 2700 or 1700 insert. These models use the small arched glass and the 17220 blower. Free-Standing Stoves First, check on the back of the stove for the certification label. The model number will be marked there. If the label is illegible or has been removed, the following will help in identification: Model Peanut, Small square door, overall stove dimensions are 16" X 22 1/2" X 21 3/4 " Model 900, has a 6" flue and one control to the top right of the door. No ash pan. Model 1100, has a 6" flue and two controls, one to the top right of the door and one at the top center of the door. Has an ash drawer below the ash lip. Model 1200, has an 8" flue and two controls, as above, and an ash pan. Model 2100, has a 6" flue and two controls, one at the bottom right of the stove body and one at the top center of the door. No ash pan and NO FIREBRICK (Stainless Steel Firebox) Model 2300, has a 6" flue and one control located below the ash lip, no ash pan. Model 2800, has a 6" flue and one control located to the top right of the door. No ash pan. Has a "SIMMER HOOD" on the top of the stove Model "STEPSTOVE", has a 6" flue, two doors, and a stepped(two level) top. Has two spin-draft wheels, one on each side of the stove. Model "TILESTOVE", has a 7" flue, two doors, and ceramic tiles on the sides, with a flat top.
